These days true customer service seems to be a lost art form. In the days of internet this, and texting that, human interaction has been somewhat overruled by technology and what usually follows is poor or incomplete customer service. Not so with Exoticlee Designs. they combine technology with good old fashioned great customer service. Yesterday I called the flower shop to order flowers for my wife's birthday. She works in Wasco and have sent her flowers before, but I've always used a florist in Bakersfield. That shop has sold to new owners and the last few experiences were less than stellar. This time I thought, why not cut to the chase? Why not use a Wasco Florist? I wanted to see some examples of certain flowers I was looking for and pick out something special. Through a Google search I found a florist in Wasco and navigated the Exoticlee website. For a Wasco florist, I was very impressed with the detail and options available on their website. I found it very easy to navigate. Not even looking to see if there was an option to order the flowers online I picked up the phone and called the flower shop. A very nice lady took my call and after explaining to her what I was looking for, she could tell I was looking at the company's website. She let me know that I could place the order on-line with my credit card. This is great because I could fill in the online form with all the information I knew was correct. No chance for someone on the other end to screw up the information. I hung up the phone and completed my transaction online. Sure, every website can do this, but what really stood out was this: When the flowers were delivered to the receptionist's desk, the floral delivery person actually called my wife to let her know the flowers had been delivered and that they were waiting for her in the lobby with the receptionist. My wife rushed to the front desk, then back to her office to call me and thank me for the flowers. As I was on the phone with my wife, I received an email confirmation that the flowers had been delivered. Outstanding!!! This is great peace of mind knowing that the florist I didn't know, that I had never used before, had filled my order exactly as I had asked, and I know the flowers had reached their destination on time. This is a great use of technology to give a customer complete satisfaction with pertinent information. I am very impressed and have bookmarked Exoticlee's website for my future flower orders.
